Viewing each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand – one his, the other, the Lord’s. However, it troubled him that at the lowest times in his life, there was but one set of footprints. The man cried to his Lord, “Lord, you said that if I followed you, you would always walk with me, but at the lowest points in my life you left me”.
